In 2024 we have donated over
$353,500 to local programs and non-profits, all
thanks to the patronage of our guests, like you!
In addition, the VO also donates over

180 Organizations/Charities in the
MWV area, each year!

THE COVERS
“Coloring the Hours” is a large
(48” x 48”) acrylic painting recently completed and shown at the
“Love Letters to Mt. Washington
Valley” show this past February
at Jackson Art Studio & Gallery. It
is available for purchase.
Margaret Dries is a longtime Mt. Washington Valley resident,
painter, graphic designer, and art director.
Margaret’s work is immediately recognizable for the bold
colors and loose brushstrokes used to capture the colors and
shapes of nature in a simplified form. Inspiration comes from
our local mountains, sunsets, skies, and the shorelines of the
East Coast. She likes to keep paintings loose and abstract (or
somewhat abstracted) to offer the viewer space to fill in their
own story about the art. “I love to hear what people think about
more abstracted pieces and how they interpret them … what
they see can be very different from what I, or other people, see.”
Contemporary art is an excellent addition to your home.
Margaret’s work can be seen at Jackson Art Studio & Gallery
in Jackson, NH, and The Three Sisters Gallery in Gorham, NH.
Her work is included in group collections at The
Snowvillage Inn, Cheese Louise, The Wentworth Hotel,
Adventure Suites, Sap House Meadery, and The Stonehurst.
Studio visits are available, as well as a concierge service to
your home with a selection of pieces to view in your spaces.
