Lily Hartman, Seabrook, NH
Lily loves to write about
health and outdoor recreation. Before making her
way back to New Hampshire, she studied publishing
and journalism at Emerson
College. She often thinks of story ideas while
exploring trails in the White Mountains. In
2021, she discovered Hiking Buddies NH 48,
a 501(c)(3) organization, where she met lifelong friends who helped her finish the NH 48.
Bernadette Donohue, Fryeburg, ME
Known as the Dream Home
Matchmaker, Bernie’s love
of adventure, nature, and
people started her real
estate career 37 years ago.
Bernie’s passion is also
to facilitate caring connections and community. She is co-chair of local REALTORS®
Community Service Committee, Creator of
MWV Photo Contest, Calendars for Charities,
and Hands of Hope cancer survivor banner.
Dave Greenslit, Conway, NH
Dave is a retired newspaper reporter and editor
who moved to the Mt.
Washington Valley to be
close to the hiking, skiing,
and mountain biking the
area has to offer. He has section-hiked the
Appalachian, Long, and Cohos trails and
completed New Hampshire’s 4,000-footers.
Meghan Moody Schwartz, N. Conway, NH
Meghan proudly hails from
the MWV. She studied marketing and management at
Elmira College and now uses
those skills to market and
produce events for Great
Glen Trails Outdoor Center and the Mt. Washington Auto Road in Pinkham Notch. She
enjoys a good carpool and anything on skis.
Lauren Clem, Madison, NH
Lauren has spent her
weekends and vacations in
the Valley for as long as she
can remember. She enjoys
meeting the people who
make the area tick and any
story that requires her to put on her hiking
boots. When she’s not exploring the White
Mountains, she writes for a magazine in her
home state of Rhode Island.
Dr. Joshua Knowles, North Conway, NH
Joshua is an orthopedic
surgeon at Maine Health
Orthopedics in North
Conway and a retired Air
Force orthopedic surgeon,
having served in eight
military hospitals throughout his career. He
and his family, including his wife and three
kids, have lived all over the world, experiencing different cultures and landscapes. They
share a passion for outdoor activities like
hiking, biking, skiing, and snowboarding.
Josh Laskin, Bartlett, NH
Josh is a photographer and
travel writer whose work
focuses on the outdoors,
adventure sports, the ski
industry, and sustainability. Josh spent a decade
living in Philadelphia, earning a degree in
environmental engineering and working
for an environmental consulting company,
pursuing mountain adventures around the
Poconos and Catskills on weekends. His love
for the outdoors brought him to the White
Mountains in 2015, and he hasn’t found an
excuse to leave since.
Andrew Schuyler, Conway, NH
Andrew splits his time
between Conway, NH and
Melrose, MA. He serves
on the Board of the White
Mountains Interpretive
Association and has a
background in journalism, clean tech, government affairs, and parenting. He enjoys
swimming and reading at Davis Park in
Conway, where he occasionally provides unsolicited advice to visitors who are behaving
(ahem) … poorly.
Ethan Daly, Portland, ME
Ethan is a writer originally
from Grantham, NH. He
worked in the AMC huts for
three seasons and Highland Center for one, exploring the White Mountains
throughout. Recently he spent a year abroad
living in New Zealand, working on a sheep
and cattle station.
Emily Calderwood, Bartlett, NH
Emily is a UK native and
retired pharmaceutical
research chemist. She
swapped her lab coat for
mountain gear and moved
with her family to Bartlett in
2018. Emily is passionate about causes helping children; she serves as a Bartlett School
Board Member, CASA volunteer, and leads the
MWV Youth STEM Expo Committee.
Hilary McCloy, PT, DPT, Jackson, NH
Hilary runs her own
physical therapy business
in Jackson, NH. Hilary is an
alumnus of the U.S. Alpine
ski team and now finds
enjoyment in trail running,
mountain biking, and backcountry skiing
in the White Mountain Region and beyond.
She is an avid reader, mom to dog Squall,
and loves to travel.
Erica Corbett Klein, Jackson, NH
Erica is a writer, teacher,
traveler, and outdoor
enthusiast. A saltwater
transplant from her home
state of Maine, Erica enjoys
all the wonders of the
Mt. Washington Valley, particularly Nordic skiing, hiking, and biking. Erica lives in
Jackson, NH, with her husband, 10-year-old
twins, and two cuddly cats.
